Israel is one of the most controversial matters in today's world geopolitics. Having an objective opinion is too complex, as complex as the current situation in the Middle East is. I introduce some bibliography to know a little bite more about the complexity of the conflictive relations between the jew state and some of its neighbours.

"My promised land. The triumph and tragedy of Israel" Ari Shavit (2013)

Gordon Thomas (2004)

ALGUNA COSA SOBRE L'EÚSCAR/ SOMETHING ABOUT BASQUE LANGUAGE

Basque country has two official languages: spanish and basque, which has an unknown origin. This was the most spoken language in Basque country for centuries, but it started its decline during the XX century, when it was totally erased from public life, due to the dictatorship.

Nowadays, language must be learned at school, ikastola is the name for  basque common language schools, and official signs are written in spanish and basque. In spite of the recovery of public normality, its use depends on the area,  as it is not widely spoken everywhere. It is the common language in the contryside and villages, but things change in the cities. The exception to this is Araba area, where the language has not been spoken in centuries.

The democracy, brought to the people their rights over the language,  survival will depend on how Basque country habitants will be capable of normalise the use of the language in their daily life.

Some years ago, I was in Estonia having fun with a group of friends,  and Tallin was the place where we stayed for longer. There is always something unexpected  while visiting a country for the first time, but in this case everything was under control because we had been perfectly informed about what to do and find once over there. In fact, this was until that moment our longest travel and all extra information was a plus.

The airport is not located  far from central Tallin. just 4 kms. away.  After a friendly argument with the bus driver due to his lack of exchange,  we got the city centre. Central area is not big at all. Strolling around is the main distraction, admiring its stunning medieval buildings. Visiting Tallinn means getting back to the past, as if the time had stopped suddenly.

All visit should start at City Hall square. It is a good star, as we can admire some important buildings, being the most important one the city hall one. The square is a good point to get to a worthy viewpoint of the city. Miquel enjoyed this place as he could take hundreds of pictures of the city.

As soon as we got back to the City Hall square we realised that there were lots of things to do, for instance take a look to the russian cathedral, the most impressive one. This is a good start for many other visits, such as the wall.

Thanks to Xavi, we knew the Depeche Mode Bar .it is a must to take a good picture in front of  its main entrance. This a a good place after the visit. In fact the centre has a vibrant night life.
